Re: Some Offsuit hand Winrates
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] so what you're saying is, that it's equally likely that i am a .18BB/hand winner with the hand as it is that I am a .04BB/hand winner? [/ QUOTE ] What you say is true, but what he's saying is that there's a 95% chance that your true winrate with K9o is between -0.03bb/hand and +0.25bb/hand. [/ QUOTE ] it's awesome that there's a reasonable chance im a .25BB/hand winner. that's a ridiculous winrate for a hand |

Re: Some Offsuit hand Winrates
Taken from a database of 86k hands, mostly at 5/10 and 10/20:
K9o 813 times -0.01 BB/hand Q9o 799 times -0.02 BB/hand J9o 809 times +0.06 BB/hand T9o 787 times -0.15 BB/hand Wow, I really suck at playing T9o... |

Temp Results III
We're over 1/5 of the way to 100k samples per hand. We need anyone with 6 max hands to contribute their samples. It doesn't matter how bad you're running with them, do not be embarrassed: after 1000 samples your true winrate will be off by as much as 0.15 95% of the time! Thanks to everyone who has already posted!
Here are the results so far: Hand Samples Winrate K9o 22116 -0.02 Q9o 22480 -0.05 J9o 22690 -0.06 T9o 22265 -0.03 |

Re: Temp Results III
I think if you are only 1/5th of the way there at some point pretty soon you may have to make a prettier looking thread that expalins your point more clearly(without all the "this is pointless" discussion) and brings people up to date with how far along you are.
Consider including posters names taht have contributed so far to help motivate the rest of HUSH to post their numbers. Make the title of your thread a clear "call for stats" "help out with the project" kind of thing so people know what you want. |
