Just like we had John Cooper's number, Tressel has clearly been outcoaching Lloyd for 5 years. The only win came when you guys had a down year 2 years ago, and we won 35-14 en route to getting slaughtered by USC in the Rose Bowl.

Join the train. We need to fire Lloyd.

Va Tech travels pretty well

[/ QUOTE ]

There are very few schools that travel as well as OSU. I doubt VTech is one of them. And if you want to look at losses, I'll take OSU's narrow losses to Texas and PSU rather than a blowout against Miami.

Va Tech looks like it will probably stay with one loss the rest of the way and ND probably wont lose, OSU might be looking at the Capital One bowl.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't see Va Tech making a BCS Bowl unless Miami loses.

[/ QUOTE ]

The bowls would have to take a lower-ranked 2 loss team over a higher ranked 1 loss team for that to happen, but I guess it could. I'm not sure this win would be enough to put OSU ahead of them. Va Tech travels pretty well, so dont be surprised if it happens and you are playing the Georgia/LSU loser.

[/ QUOTE ]

OSU will draw MUCH better TV ratings than Va Tech. As a fan of college football though, I don't know if it wouldn't be better to play the UGA/LSU loser than West Virginia.

Bring on Notre Dame in Tempe or Miami in the Orange Bowl.

Did that game seem eerily similar to the OSU-Texas game, except the other way around?

Default Aggressive play wins.

[ QUOTE ]
Just wanted to say it first:

Congrats, Ohio State. You guys deserved this win.

Our coach blows. We shoulda gone for it on fourth down. Good luck, and hope that Michigan State wins.

Goddamn... we need to fire Lloyd Carr.

[/ QUOTE ]

Lloyd Carr = good man.
Lloyd Carr = poor game coach.

I hope it is now clearly evident to the UofM boosters.
We had the Buckeyes down. That was not the time to get conservative on offense or defense.

Congrats to the Buckeyes and Tressel.
