Would this taste good?
I have no idea how to cook anything but awhile back I wanted chocolate chip cookies and was thinking of making the following.
Put like 1/4 stick of butter in a bowl. Add a lot of white sugar. Add a little brown sugar. A few drops of vanilla. "Stir" it up, maybe add water. Would this taste good? If not, what can I do that doesn't involve an oven or egg-beater to make it awesome? |

Re: Would this taste good?
You do realize that it's just going to be a stick of butter covered in sugar, right?

Re: Would this taste good?
Yeah kinda, but isn't that essentially what a cookie is, minus egg?

Re: Would this taste good?
I'm no pastry chef, but I think you need some flour or something.

Yes, it would be fantastic. So fantastic that you should give it a whirl and give us a trip report + pics.

In reality though, making cookies isn't hard at all. You can always get those slice and bake things that pillsbury makes, they're pretty good. Even if you wanted to bake your own, it's not tough. |

Re: Would this taste good?
I don't really want cookies as much as the cookie batter. I like eating that stuff right after the egg has been put in. So is all I need butter/sugar/vanilla/egg? Milk? Flour?
