I'm glad our game last night got some people talking!

I'll be unavailable until about 8:30pm EST but I'm up for another game, like I mentioned last night before everyone left, we should have a 2+2 table every night.

Last night some mentioned an interest in a NL game as well so mayhaps we can play two tables or mix up the games at some point. I'll play any game on PP.

See you all tonight!

Heh. The last time I played an NL 2+2 table, it was at the smallest Stars NL tables available. Fuji was playing all-in or fold preflop, so I just played like a nit and took his money away. 100 BB/100, baby!

Nice location, BTW. If you mean me, I didn't mean it in an insulting way. There is just an obvious difference between playing somebody wo's (relatively) new here, and somebody like bottomset, wookie, or tiltaholic the poker god.

Actually, bottomset ripped on me a bit more in his first post, but I appreciate the advice. The Loc. is appropriate, though, considering that's where I'll spend the next few months on this forum. But it's worth it, of course.

I also played some good players in these 2+2 games (though not nearly enough). You really can learn a lot from it, especially about hand reading and how to play against TAGs (which becomes more important as you move up). One particular session that stands out for me is playing 3-4 handed with entity GoT and somebody else (maybe actually bottomset or tiltaholic). I got handled, and learned a lot.

I played in that game, I learned a fair bit, but not as much as I should have, and unfortunately it was a 1time opportunity, at least at that cheap of stakes.

I don't think I said anything that could be considered insulting IMO, and I just gave a little response to preflop, postflop is where the money is in this game, however certain mistakes preflop are very difficult to overcome postflop, especially if the player is tough to play against.
