Re: Call - gutsy or stupid?
Why are you betting so little on the turn?

Re: Call - gutsy or stupid?
I wanted to bet a little more than half pot - will this not a accomplish what a 2/3 pot (~$12) or pot bet will?

Re: Call - gutsy or stupid?
Bet more on a draw heavy board if you think you have the best hand.

Final Pot: $104.10 Results: Hero has Qh Kh (two pair, queens and jacks). CO has Th 9c (one pair, jacks). Outcome: Hero wins $104.10. I think you're right - there's merit it betting more when I think I have the best hand. I think part of it was not wanting to get checkraised all in on the turn. Once the last J hit, I checked and just couldn't see him with a jack after the flop and turn, so if I induce I call. |

Re: Call - gutsy or stupid?
Can you explain how it would be that you would get checkraised all in?

Re: Call - gutsy or stupid?
Someone could choose to slowplay a set. Don't get me wrong, I think that's the incorrect way to play a set on that board, but I still wouldn't like to see a checkraise all in on the turn.
edit: err nevermind the "check" part |
