Turn semibluff CR (prob, stand.)
Just wanted to know if anyone likes this move.
400nl game on party. Someone min raises in mp. Maybe one caller in late position, I call im BB with QJ suited, early limper calls. Flop comes 459 giving me a flush draw. I lead for pot, prf is only caller. Turn is A, but not a club. 120 in pot. I check, villan bets 100, I move in for 320 total. What does he need to call me? Is this a good line? |

Re: Turn semibluff CR (prob, stand.)
You oppenent basically told you he had and Ace. Heres the Problem, In a 400nl game on party, most players are not laying down a ace, espeically after betting a 100 into the pot. You are now drawing to 9 outs on the river. Maybe even 8 if his Ace is a spade. I dont like the semi-bluff because he is going to call you down and you are a big dog. If you want to make this type of play, get some money in on the flop.

I think you're looking at AXc a lot of times here.
