A Whiffed Set
Effective stacks are 100 BB.
I'm in the BB with black 55. A MP LAG opens for 4xBB, his standard raise. One late caller, SB folds, I call. 3 to flop for 12.5 BB. Flop comes [paint[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] I check with the intention to raise a CB from the MP, who I know makes frequent CBs. This may seem obvious to you, but it's new to me. What say you? |

Re: A Whiffed Set
Sounds like a good plan. However, I abort if the late caller calls the CB. Also, this play works much better when you have postion and get the added benefit of a free card.

This play only works if you have a very respectable image.
