i put him on something that can beat a K with a 6 kicker

i dont think you will drive him out considering he's already 3-bet 1/3 of his stack

i also dont like the check-raise .... whats your plan if he calls?

If you bet out you can shut it down if he raises you on the flop.. lose less money that way than a CR.. if he just calls than your K could be good. As it stands, ya I lay it down

Yea I like the bet more than the check-raise here since it's cheap and you get information this way too.

Bet: Easy fold to a re-raise.
Check-Raise: Hmm is my K6 good if he comes over the top?

I knew I had him beat with my K.He just called preflop, so unless he was limping with a monster, or hit a monster (55 or 88) I really don't see myself being beat. He confirmed it by only betting half the pot. I was thinking if he did have a monster, he would check, seeing as how there was no flush draw. Anyways, that's how I thought this hand through.

He showed AQo.

Well, what if I was wrong? I would basically be out. I figure, whatever, I'll live to see another day. I did think about coming over the top with an all in. But, it did look like he could have limped with 55 or 88. Hindsight is 20/20.
