With no read on this guy...

I would either 3-bet the turn and then call down...

OR

Call turn raise and then donk bet the river and call a raise...

From his preflop three-betting, I'm putting him on a big pocketpair. Seems unlikely he would have trips or two pairs on that board. If you're up against aces, then that sucks, but more often it will be TT, JJ or QQ. The board is still very coordinated on the turn, so calling down is fine.

this is how I play it

I'm probably missing some value though

I'm guessing you should 3-bet the turn as you're ahead of TT-QQ, tied with KK and behind only AA

3bet turn, he has QQ/JJ a great proportion of the time.

Result

MP3 shows [ 8c, 8d ] a full house, Eights full of nines.
igbr1 doesn't show [ Ks, Kc ] two pairs, kings and nines.
MP3 wins $36.50 from the main pot with a full house, Eights full of nines.

Are we thinking about what he thinks we have? We capped pre-flop and 3-bet the flop. I think we have screamed that we have AA-QQ. Then he comes back and raises the turn? Hmmm, I'm calling down expecting AA from him.

3-betting this turn sucks. Really hard.

I play this exactly the same way you played it. 3-betting the turn is overplaying.

You told villain in unmistakable terms that you have a big pocket pair. Villain then trickily raised you on the turn. Gee, I wonder what he has.
