Fish stats but a winner
Played Empire bonus, 6-max. Had 432 hands against one guy that had
VP$IP: 64, PFR: 1, aggression: 0.80. Incredibly passive for 6-handed. A great fish yet he was up 38BB. Can't remember seeing such a calling station be up that much after that many hands. Always end up losers well before that. |

Re: Fish stats but a winner
You haven't seen a fish up money? This is not a rare sight. This is what makes poker so profitable Be happy he's winning.

Re: Fish stats but a winner
Often see fish up money but not someone that passive in a six-man after that many hands. I know 400+ hands is miniscule but still seemed pretty unusual for someone so passive in a game that is won by aggression.

Re: Fish stats but a winner
I saw a player with a vpip of 90% who saw any 2 cards to the river go up 130 BB in about an hour. He won hand after hand after hand, it was amazing to watch. Then, and this was the worst part, he left the table before I could take his winnings from him.
Anyone can be a winner in the short term, this is not surprising or unusual. |

Re: Fish stats but a winner
I think I was playing against the same guy, well he had the same stats anyhow. Name ended with a q.....he was on the same 1/2 6max table for hours, a came and went a few times. He won non-stop early, but rebought non-stop late

Re: Fish stats but a winner
Maybe still not a big deal, but just to clarify, it was 38BB/100.
