I'm capable of folding it and have done so at 100--that guy was the tighest person I had ever seen though.
Obviously, I'm not folding it against a shorter stack or a complete unknown. I've never folded that hand in tournament play--I've never had the situation arise where I even could have yet. |

I was in an almost identical situation a few days ago. I was a blind, the button raised, I reraised, and he pushed. I really wanted to fold, but I just don't fold KK preflop (I've done it once). I was 90% sure he had aces, but I was also 99% sure that I was wrong more than enough times to make the call correct. He turned over 55 and hit a 5 on the turn. But the point is that people will make ridiculous plays in SSNL and KK is just too good to lay down without a hell of a read.

This happened to me a few days ago too. this lil fishy player overraised preflop but i had caught him doing this with a-10 earlier. This time i Had KK, i re-raised 2x and he pushed the rest of his Giant stack INSTANTLY. I was the only other big stack and i was 90% sure he had it, but come on, he overraised preflop with a-10 tenhanded!
Your situation was 6max right? their's no way in hell im getting away from KK 6handed unless villain is the rockest rock to ever rock. Even then, i'd probably still crying call it unless i was on my absolute "A" game that day. But i don't know, i dont play 6max much, so i haven't run into it. Anyway, insta-call. its 6max for god's sake! |

Over the long run getting it in pre-flop with KK is ++EV. From time to time you run in to AA (40-1 against at 6-max) so I don't worry about these situations.
