Oh dear...thats not a good flop (6-max)
I was stumped with this one...
Villian is 50/6/1.6 after 50 hands..seems like a pretty typical player, hasnt done anything really stupid yet. PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Hero raises, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls. Flop: (6.50 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, BB folds, Hero ???? Was my flop bet ok? Whats our plan for the rest of the hand? Obliky PS: Woot! 200 posts! And its only taken me nearly a year! |

Re: Oh dear...thats not a good flop (6-max)
I fold this hand. Small enough pot. 6max usually even more apt to play every paint card and or suited. Not worth calling to river to see his 72s or K2o

Re: Oh dear...thats not a good flop (6-max)
At the very least this is an attempt at a free card by someone with the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (this seems to be the third thing semi-crappy players learn, after the check-raise and slowplaying aces), and with low aggression he's probably raising his soooted K-rag (or slowplayed aces).
It's such a small pot I'm not sure I want to see how this movie ends. |

Stumped?
This fold is very routine and you should start laying it down without a second thought. |

Re: Oh dear...thats not a good flop (6-max)
Folding would be wrong. I can't see how the other 2 posters find a 9.5SB pot small. You get 13.5:5 pot odds to call down or even better if you fold when another club falls or if villain checks etc. Which means you need to win this 27% of times max.

Re: Oh dear...thats not a good flop (6-max)
flop bet is standard.
wow, 50% vpip and aggr factor of 1.6? that means he's betting and raising A LOT! I'm tempted to call down from here. then again you only have 50 hands on him... |

Re: Oh dear...thats not a good flop (6-max)
a fold here would be painful for your metagame, particularly at 6m.
add to that the decent chance he is doing this with nothing more than Qcx or Acx and its a harder choice than it initially looks. i still fold tho |

Re: Oh dear...thats not a good flop (6-max)
It pains me to see so many people advocating a fold here. At the very least he should call the raise and see the turn.
