Re: Should i have folded the turn here?
I often cap with QQ heads preflop against this type.
You should not fold the turn. AQ and 88 is in the hand range. Some people might advocate bet/calling the river, but given the turn cap from Villain, I think check/call is justified. If he has AA's, pay off. |

Open fold the flop next time, and stop posting results and results suggesting titles.

Re: Should i have folded the turn here?
a 17/11 would reraise with AQ? He seems awfully tight to pull a move like that (or with 88). The 3 bet then check on the flop will make me real suspicious.

Re: Should i have folded the turn here?
Yeah, I wasn't paying enough attention to the flop action. I agree that it is suspicious. I think you might find a turn fold, considering that and the read.
Sometimes I'll reraise with AQs or 88, depending on the read of the original PFR. And my PFR % is not that far off of that. So I call down expecting to lose. |

Re: Should i have folded the turn here?
Well i had seen this player 3 bet preflop earlier in the session with AQ. At the turn i'm really thinknig he can only have AA, KK, AK, or AQ. Don't really see him having anything else (including 88)

Re: Should i have folded the turn here?
He won't 4 bet with KK on the turn. It doesn't make sense.
I guess you would have to pay off the river just in case he has AQ. You are getting like 12.5 to 1 odds. So being right like 10% or something will make it an ok call. |

Re: Should i have folded the turn here?
I think you need to bet out on the flop. You could be holding AK, AQ, AJ.
