Default Thin Value betting

A couple of situation here where I feel the bet/fold to a raise might have been more profitable than my check/check line. Lets see what the forum thinks. If you want to comment on play on the other streets feel free. Stacks $100 in both hands

Hand 1

Only 10 hands at the table, but in that time the villian has overbet the flop pointlessly twice which suggests he may be weak but we can't be sure.

Hero is button with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

CO limps, Hero raises to $4, fold, fold, CO calls

Flop A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Check, Hero bets $8

Turn Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Check, Hero bets $15 (with the aim of keeping flush draws semi priced in)

River K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Check, Hero?

Bet again here? Lots of overfulls around now. However it seems unlikely villian would check one on the end. What would he call with that makes it worth betting?

Flop

Hand 2

Villian seems standard NL100 fare and on the weak/passive side.

Hero in SB K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG limps, MP limps, CO limps Hero completes, BB checks

Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Check, Hero bets $4, BB calls, CO calls.

Turn 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero bets $10, BB folds, CO calls

River 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero?

CO could well have had Ah as backup to his hand, or he coudl have been chasing the nutflush and made it on the turn. Do lower flushes and Jacks call? Do you bet and if so how much?

Hand one I reckon an Ace calls here figuring on a split, a queen that thought you were cbetting the flop and caught trips, AK that didnt want to build a pot - I have done all these things when I started out so I now that way of thinking exists

Hand two not betting here would seem weak passive. Lower hearts do call at 100NL, so do sets and str8s at the right tables You led all the way so a lone small heart might think you could have AJ, JT or even 89 for the flopped str8.
I might check to a predictable LAG who will try and take the pot from you figuring the 4 flush crippled you.
