I guess I can rephrase it into a more general question: when you are short stack, which is more important to you, survival or getting value?

w/ a pot size > than your current chip count -- they are one in the same

to go a little further, your hand is NOT that strong vs. 3 others. you do not want to entertain the idea of getting a call "for value"...bring a turn (+ a priced in river) card to overs/draws/etc.

push the flop - you done goot!
