$22 Q,Q early on
What do i do here?
If there was 1 ace on the board, i would most likely check/fold. But with 2 can i put one of them on an ace? #Game No : 3000678625 ***** Hand History for Game 3000678625 ***** NL Texas Hold'em $20 Buy-in + $2 Entry Fee Trny:17232060 Level:2 Blinds(15/30) - Tuesday, November 08, 00:35:24 EDT 2005 Table Table 67242 (Real Money) Seat 5 is the button Total number of players : 10 Seat 4: SEVENS774 ( $1200 ) Seat 6: Carter05 ( $725 ) Seat 8: gerald1350 ( $420 ) Seat 10: w4716 ( $715 ) Seat 9: epp82883 ( $685 ) Seat 1: Olback17 ( $755 ) Seat 3: lvstrg ( $730 ) Seat 5: bull50 ( $1225 ) Seat 7: Poppy34 ( $710 ) Seat 2: Sstephano20 ( $835 ) Trny:17232060 Level:2 Blinds(15/30) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Olback17 [ Qh Qd ] gerald1350 folds. epp82883 folds. w4716 calls [30]. >You have options at Table 67726 Table!. >You have options at Table 67848 Table!. Re: $22 Q,Q early on
He would usualy only call the cont bet with an Ace. So yeah, give up.

Re: $22 Q,Q early on
I always ask this of myself and others when they have a hand like this and a flop like this.
If you had an ace would you bet it???? Nope. So why bet here? You have 2 opponents. I think the chance of one of them not having ace is slim. If you bet, it doesn't look like an ace. Then what do you do when you bet and someone doesn't believe you with they're 9s and pushes over you? I am not saying check fold, but I think checking here is a good idea. If no one has an ace then there is only 3 cards in the deck that hurts you, maybe 2 if they both hold a king. This is not as simple as most people think. If you had one opponent it would be a lot easier. |

If I had an Ace, I would bet it [/ QUOTE ] ... and if called I would check the turn. Makes for a good amount of Shania. |

Re: $22 Q,Q early on
How about a probe type bet of 1/4 - 1/3 of the pot, try to represent an A building a pot? Do TAG's come over the top in that situation or is the threat that I have an A enough to keep them in line?
