Default 55 bottom set gets put all-in, my action?

Villain in this hand is a loose-aggressive/passive, 30.6/9.9/.9, and he wins about 62% of his showdowns. He has gone to showdown 37% though. I only have 100 hands on him. I believe I've seen him make some moves but nothing like this hand comes to mind.

I figure his range is probably 88-77, 64, 96, 87, or a6s, I really can't imagine hes bluffing here but maybe. Does anyone call here or is this a good fold?

If he's bluffing, its likely a huge draw.

Fold here is reasonable, he is doing this into the entire field. Helps to remember how strongly he plays hands that look strong to a fish though. If he overplays two pair here, I call.

The huge overbet could indicate some kind of combodraw, but still if that was the case, you would not be a huge favorite. Better set or straight large % of the time, with the straight being most likely.

I fold

You obviously can't read when it says in the post that hero folded.

You beat me into this thread! Instacall, you are most likely ahead of any reasonable draw that villain has, plus you have two redraws to fill-up.

Can you help me out here? What clues did I miss which told me I should beat him into the pot? I know you are better than me so I was hoping you could go into details.

Its a limped pot; of the things you are beating, villain could easily have something like T9, 87, 86, 75, 65, or 2 overcard spades. If he flopped the straight, its only 2:1 against you filling up by the river. If he has a higher set, oh well, he gets my money (or I hit my 1-outer). Basically, the bottom line is that I'm not convinced I'm behind and, if I am, I have a good chance of outdrawing a straight (which, combinatorically, is more likely than a higher set).

I see, so basically I am giving him way too much respect. I do tend to do that...

Against what type of villain would you fold this hand? Tight aggressive? Tight passive? Other?
