Re: This is the first OFFICIAL after-Magoo Thread!
The weekend was quite enjoyable and not at all profitable.

Vegas Hilight: Flop with no hands
We obviously were able to find MANY MANY situations which called for Al Capone to kick the individual causing the situation in the nuts.
Then the following occurs. We are playing your basic Double Flop Omaha High Only (with 1 turn and 1 river for both boards). The dealer gathers the cards from the previous hand, places them into the Shuffle Master, and extracts the newly made deck. The dealer proceeds to burn, and deal both flops. No one had been dealt a hand yet. We all scream "Al Capone needed for a kicking in the nuts". By the way, we proceeded to play this game with no cards, but betting on the flop, and then you were dealt your hand. Just became yet another Magoo game for the masses. Good times. |

Re: Vegas Hilight: Flop with no hands
Damn, what time did the 2+2 mixed games end?
I got to the MGM a little after midnight and found no mixed games and no games going upstairs. I thought there might be some hardcore gamblers still going at the MGM by then :-) Oh and Felicia, if I would have seen ya, I would have said, "Hi" (and a hug!). Best Wishes Howard |

Re: Vegas Hilight: Flop with no hands
that was the only shameful thing about the event, the first table broke about fifteen till ten, the second an hour later, and the last about an hour after that, so right before midnight.
One turn and one river kick ass. I also liked playing Stud Hi/Low double qualifier, raising on the river into the AAxx of the original better, having him fold, getting a caller, and scooping with my 8 low. I did not like Dynasty betting, and me raising him, only for us to sixth a pot. |

Re: Vegas Hilight: Flop with no hands
Damn, I guess I just missed you again. After a couple of hours of reverse stud, and 5-flop hold'em, and some homocidal Raz variant(K or Q up eliminates a player) my table seemed to get a little board, and several headed to the Bellagio. I'll drop by Green Valley Wednesday night if I remember. John |

Enough with the extraneous information. We want to see the photos you mentioned in the original post.

Now what the hell does THAT do to your pot odds? |
