my pokertracker stats - comments?
82k hands at 3/6 Party, I usually play 3 tables, but always at least 2. If I'm watching a movie with the mrs. I'll scale down to 2 tables so I can half pay attention to the movie.
Based on everything I've read, and stats of other winning players in my db, I definitely think my VP$IP is too high, but I haven't had a losing week yet in 4 months. With what info you can get just from my stats alone, I'd appreciate any comments: VP$IP: 26.60% (too high?) VP$IFSB: $46.35 (too high?) Saw Flop AH: 32.38% (too high?) Saw Flop NAB: 22.15% (too high?) W$WSF: 30.57% WTSD: 34.25% (too high?) W$ASD: 48.08% Raised PF: 7.01% SD/hr = $94.24 (17.16 BB) SD/100 = $117.12 (21.31 BB) WR/hr = $12.48 (2.42 BB) WR/100 = $19.88 (3.86 BB) |

Re: my pokertracker stats - comments?
W$WSF: 30.57%
WTSD: 34.25% (too high?) W$ASD: 48.08% While I think your W$WSF should be a little higher, your W$ASD would concern me the most - I would think it should be >50% with that many hands played. Try not to be too skeptical and pay off so many river bets. Your stats aren't bad though and the bottom line is that you are a winning player. Mike |

SB flops seen - what\'s reasonable for different structures?
[ QUOTE ]
VP$IP: 26.60% (too high?) VP$IFSB: $46.35 (too high?) Saw Flop AH: 32.38% (too high?) SD/hr = $94.24 (17.16 BB) SD/100 = $117.12 (21.31 BB) WR/hr = $12.48 (2.42 BB) WR/100 = $19.88 (3.86 BB) [/ QUOTE ] I'll echo Mike's opinion - you're winning >2BBs/hour after >1,000 hours- nicely done! You're clearly a winning player, congrats. My 2 cents: 1) Glad you asked about SB flop % - got me to look at mine. IMO, 46% of flops seen from small blind in a $3-$6 game is either a typo or a big leak. You're only posting $1 out of $3 in the SB, and should virtually ignore the fact that you've got $1 in there. There was a good thread a while back on "what do you lose from the blinds in PT?" Check yours vs benchmarks. (I lose 0.06 BBs/hand from the SB at a full table, FWIW). With a much smaller sample size, here's some of my VP$IFSB as food for thought: SB is 1/3 of the BB ($3-$6 only): 27% SB is 2/5 of the BB ($5-$10 only): 24% SB is 1/2 of the BB, lower limits ($1-$2, $2-$4): 46% (my loosy-goosy play at loose tables I think) SB is 1/2 of the BB, higher limits ($8-$16, $10-$20, $20-$40, $30-$60): 29% SB is 2/3 of the BB ($15-$30 only): 52% OVERALL: 44% (over 50% of my PT hands are at $15-$30 which drives the avg higher) 2) Odds are you're looser than optimal pre-flop overall as well. Precise %s matter less than your solid results, but you're seeing 32% of flops. I'm happy to sit in virtually any game with a pre-flop % >30%. My recommendation: review your Position Stats tab in PT as well as your BBs won (lost) for specific hands in detail and you will find pre-flop leaks you can plug. Start by looking at small-to-medium pairs and suited connectors in early-middle position. 3) Where did you get the StdDev data from PokerTracker ? I looked but cannot find. Good luck on congrats on your success. J |

Re: my pokertracker stats - comments?
I have about 11,000 hands in pokertracker, but I never really know what to make of these stats. It looks like I play a bit tighter than you do, but I don't win as much as you do,so maybe i need to loosen up.
Most of my stats are from party 2/4 or 3/6, and I win 1.4 BB/Hr according to pokertracker, usually playing 2 or 3 tables at once. I consider my main weakness is to be too weak/tight. VP$IP: 18.01% VP$IFSB: 38.46 Saw flop all hands 24.5 Saw Flop NAB: 15.59 W$WSF: 27.79 WTSD: 27.88 W$ASD: 51.8 Raised PF: 6.99 I never really know what to make of all of these numbers. Just thought I'd throw mine out there for comparison. Pretzel |

Checking pokertracker, I win at all positions except SB (-0.08 BB) and BB (-0.15 BB). I need to work on my blind plays. I tend to defend steal attempts too much. |

The love of a good woman is worth at least 1BB/hr. [/ QUOTE ] Gosh, this might set off a bidding war! Do we hear 2? and what limit? Guess we shouldn't follow this in public...but we can all dream the gender appropriate dream. |
