This was a tough laydown for me. I know I was getting a good price but my gut was telling me that I was either beat or about to get sucked out on.

I folded but muck my cowboys face up.

UTG flips over 88 for flopped set. He said he thought I had AK and wanted me to call.

too bad you didn't get the feeling that you were about to get sucked out on before your pre-flop raise. you could have just mucked your cowboys and saved some chips

I think this is very results oriented thinking. I don't know if I fold there.

Maybe so. I went with a read instead of the math on this. There's a range of hands that have me beat with that flop. I don't think I'm weak tight but I can read aflop pretty good.
