Default finding gambling friends

You know, I thank my lucky stars for finding friends who are involved in gambling. As any of you know, gambling is a good way to lose your social life.

Most of my friends are very risk averse. Ie. they don't bother to get a job, the live off their parent's income, they let their parents pay for everything, their parents are millionaires. Oh and don't mention money to them, oddly, $500 is a fortune.

Okay, they aren't risk averse, they simply don't have to take a risk...

Here are some of the reactions from my risk averse friends, and my gambling friends.

"Jeez, I just dumped $500 in the past two weeks."

RAF: You ##### moron! I don't understand why you do this to yourself.

GF: That's not bad, I mean 6.75 and hour. Do you know how many players wish they could say that?

"I love to gamble, look at all 15 of my books."

RAF: You're adicted, did you ever try gamblers anonymous?

GF: Wow, I can't believe I actually found someone as serios as I am. (talks about gambling for the next 15 hours.)

"You wouldn't believe how much fun I had at the table today."

RAF: I gambled once, and I lost $35 playing BJ, it took like 10 minutes.

GF: Yeah, me too.......

"The expected value on this play is...."

RAF: You are going to lose, dumba##. I though you were smarter than this.

GF: I think you did the math wrong.

"I play poker for a living."

RAF: It sounds like you are going to go broke again. It's all luck, and you know luck runs out eventually.

GF: Don't tell your non- gambling friends, they will never understand.

"Too late."

Just remind them that you dont play against the house, you play against other people. The house merely "rakes" your play.
