Re: Win Rates
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I've only had PT for a few weeks, but I'm winning about the same as before I had it. My rate is 3.97/100 hands for around 5K hands. I know that is not enough hands but like I said I'm winning the same as before PT. I play $5/$10. [/ QUOTE ] I was at 7.4bb/100 at 2-4 over 5k hands. [/ QUOTE ] Holy crap you should right a book. [/ QUOTE ] I could explain thoroughly how to extract the most from set over set situations. |

2.718281828459045 BB/100. [/ QUOTE ] That's total crap. The best possible winrate is definitely: lim (1 + 1/n)^n as n approaches infinity. What is this, amateur hour? |

Re: Win Rates
[ QUOTE ]
The day you look back and realize how insignificant this is, you'll have a good laugh. [/ QUOTE ] I know and I knew I would hear this, but I'm winning the same amount on avg as I was before PT. I look forward to seeing where I'm at at 10K, 25K, and 100K hands! All I know now is that I plan on doing the same thing and not changing my play at all. |

Sounds like a good, progressive, learning strategy. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not trying to be a jerk but I've been playing at the same site for 2+ years, my game gets better all the time. ( I bought in for $100 and have never put another dime in but takeout profit all the time) I spend a few hours every week reading new poker books and my game has improved. But right now I can't think of any good reason to change what I'm doing, I still read each week and look in here most days. But why would I "change" what is working so well. Let me ask you this, if I'm still at 4BB/100 after 10K, 25K or 100K hands would it be ok not to change then? That being said, if things change and the profit falls I would twik my game at that point. |

[/ QUOTE ] The real trick would be to calculate how many hands you'd need to get your winrate to this many decimal places. My guess is you'd have to play longer than a Hubble time. |

Re: Win Rates
I'm at 1.3BB/100 for 2/4 over 47k hands and I suck, so more is sustainable.

Re: Win Rates
I am very humbled. I bow down to you, oh great poker god. By all means, never change how you play. You are obviously a protoge and have completely mastered the game in a very short time. I'm sure you will still be at 4BB/100 after 100k hands.

Re: Win Rates
I'm at 3.28/100 over 16.5k, but had a very very very hot streak and have just been back to normal for a few week. I would hope to level off between 2 and 2.5 in the long run. I'm not even close to good enough to stay in the 3+ range
