My last hand of Paradise 100k - final table
Money structure is the following : 4.5k for 6th, 5.5k for 5th, 6.5k for 4th and then big jump to 8.9k for 3th.
Bankroll considerations are not the issue at all. Preflop raiser is very aggressive may have AK-A9 here and almost any pair. My thinking process was the following : if I fold now the best I can hope for is 5th, with very slim chance for 4h. If I double up my chances for 3th+ and bigger money are enormous, cause one of the bigstacks is super aggro donk who will make a lot of action + preflop raiser in this hand is aggressive too (but good). I probably have 2live cards and shouldve about 40% for double up. So I called. Tell me how bad it is Seat 1: shlomiezra (222,958 in chips) Seat 3: punter11235 (56,824 in chips) Seat 5: PUNISHER-6 (254,929 in chips) Seat 7: brsavage (119,858 in chips) Seat 8: denism17 (188,995 in chips) Seat 10: getumjoe (213,936 in chips) punter11235: Ante (600) PUNISHER-6: Ante (600) brsavage: Ante (600) denism17: Ante (600) getumjoe: Ante (600) shlomiezra: Ante (600) shlomiezra: Post Small Blind (6,000) punter11235: Post Big Blind (12,000) Dealt to punter11235 Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] brsavage: Raise (119,258) denism17: Fold getumjoe: Fold shlomiezra: Fold punter11235: Call All-in (44,224) (converted doesnt work for tourneys so I edited by myself). Re: My last hand of Paradise 100k - final table
you may also get some insightful replies to this in the SNG forum.
generally, i think the gap concept ingrained in my blood forces me to fold this everytime. i think my only issue is your idea that basically it's this hand or nothing. you will still have some small amount of fold equity (4xBB) after this hand. you will also still have an orbit until you are really strapped to commit yourself to a hand. i just don't think q-high is good enough here -- not to mention that his hand range really may not be that loose, considering he is pushing into 4 stacks that cover him. i'd fold. |

Re: My last hand of Paradise 100k - final table
There's a decent chance you're dominated here but...considering his wide range, your short stack (in relation to blinds and the rest of the table) Q high, sooted even, I call this just about every time I think.

this call is no good. be first in to gain some FE [/ QUOTE ] See, I don't know if this is right. In a SNG, survival most definately out weighs doubling up. Stealing blinds is a way to survive, not double up. But since the payout structure of MTTs are so much more top heavy, doubling up has HUGE equity possibilities. I'm not sure if Q8s is good enough, but you are definately looking for a spot to double up here. |

Re: My last hand of Paradise 100k - final table
I would fold, as the chances of being dominated aer quite decent due to the fact that this guy moved allin with over 10x the BB while 3 off the button. However I doubt that calling is ridiculous, but you aren't even getting 2-1 here....I would lean towards folding. If the button made this push I would likely call, as their range of hands is much wider, and sometimes youll even see hands that you beat such as JT. |

Re: My last hand of Paradise 100k - final table
Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you didn't push any of the three hands before this? I don't think the call is as bad as people are saying, but I don't think I'd make it. There's a decent chance you are dominated. I haven't seen how BR plays a pushbot stack, but pushing in 10xBB UTG through all the big stacks does seem to say he has something pretty good.
