The way you describe LPP, who woke up and finally raised, he's either got something like AK, in which he will probably call 2 cold, or a big pair, in which case he'll toss in the 3-bet or call 2 cold. Either way, this pot is sweet enough. You should still protect your set, if he has a premium pair by making it 2 cold.

If i raise, it isn't for protection -- especially against the preflop raiser, who is undoubtedly drawing to 2 outs. A raise is for value.

SSH recommends rarely slowplaying sets. consider doing so only if youre playing the top set on the flop w/ no flush or straight scares. your board doesnt meet that criteria.
