Donk-Farm\'in
Notes:
villain is a really bad lag with stats of 35/25/2. He donks preflop agressors constantly with even weak-draws or made hands like bottom pair. He doesnt usually donk 2 streets in a row though. On the turn, I was planning to check behind, but things got spicy. Also, this isnt standard play with low pp's at all for me. Re: Donk-Farm\'in
Preflop and flop are very questionable. Other streets are fine.
Off topic.... [ QUOTE ] He donks preflop agressors constantly with even weak-draws or made hands like bottom pair. [/ QUOTE ] When I was growing up in poker, "made hand" always meant a 5 card hand (straight or better), but I've heard a pair referred to as a made hand several times this week. When did this transition occur? |

Re: Donk-Farm\'in
I dont know, I just picked it up somewhere I think. I consider a "made hand" in hold'em to be something like a pair or a straight.
For the flop, I fold here 90% of the time. Also, you dont open raise PP's from CO? |

Re: Donk-Farm\'in
Is there really that much of a difference between the two in practice? I mean, for the most part, nearly everything that calls you wins if they hit a pair either way, right?

Re: Donk-Farm\'in
I believe unless you have very good table image and people fold to you regularly, the raise on the flop is bad. You should just let it go and fold.
You're a dog to almost half the deck (74o would be a better hand on this flop) and at 5/10 you're rarely outplaying an opponent into laying down a pair much less a straight if it hits. |

They aren't in the same category. Ask around. Find people with 200K+ hands in PokerTracker and you will see there is more than a slight difference between 22 and 33, 33 and 44, 44 and 55. Also check pokerroom's EV stats. |
