I got in. There was no gamble really. Although it is true that I didn't start any other applications and would have had to write them in a few weeks. But it's not like I only applied to one school and that was it. I could have applied to more schools if I didn't get in.

i always scored in the top percentile on standardized tests and i used to assume that meant i was really, really, smart but i've found that thinking of myself as "pretty smart" has served me much better than thinking of myself as "exceptionally smart."
so, for the record, i am pretty smart. (1460, 33)

She gave me a comb and I tried to eat with it and put it my mouth like it was a fork. She informed my parents that I was 'retarded' and would have severe learning defects and a rough childhood. When my parents asked her what prompted this, she talked about how she gave me a comb and I tried to use it as a fork and eat with it. My mom then explained how we didn't have any combs in the house. as far as SATs, 800 on math, 560 (no joke isuck at vocab) to cap it off.
as far as colleges go, i got into the only college i applied to, which also happened to be the only college in the country with my major [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
