Unless you really know the villain from playing lots of hands w/ him, his stack size dictates the proper play. It appears you'll need to risk an additional 15.60 to win 38.60 (30.75 already in the pot after check-raise + villains last 7.85).
You're getting around 2.5-1 odds after villains check-raise (assuming he calls your push). I say this makes it an easy push. |

How passive is villain?
Generally, when passive villains check-raise, it's time to get out. However, given his short stack, I might stick the rest in, if you think he's loose enough to make this play with a smaller overpair. |
