Re: WOW - Raketherake customer service!
Vibes,
If you have been following the Absolute threads this month, you would know that Absolute made several changes this month. The biggest being several changes in the hand history format, this screwed up everyones pokertracker data (and it appears screwed up absolute's internal tracking systems as well). If you haven't already, you should make sure you have the latest Pokertracker release, clear you absolute sessions and reimport. This will correct any data errors on your side. On the absolute side, they have stated they they will be correcting any incorrect data in their systems by the end of the month. Based on Jessica's posts here, it is clear that RTR is working with Absolute to resolve the problems created by Absolutes changes. Its worth noting that despite the problems created by Absolutes system updates this month, storing hand histories locally, rather than having to email request them from their buggy old hand history system, is a great development. If Absolute kicks into gear and finally fixes the other major issues with their software, including allowing more than 3 tables, Absolute has the best chance of taking on Party for Market leadership. It is by far the most rewarding site for high volume rakeback/bonus whore players! Additionally, based on my analysis of Rakeback providers, RakeTheRake is the best rakeback affiliate! |

Re: WOW - Raketherake customer service!
I actually just got Pokertracker, downloaded it on Wednesday, after it was supposedly fixed, so that shouldn't be my problem. Actually, even not going by Pokertracker's stats, just going by what RTR tells me and by what Absolute tells me shows the problem.
I have been following the threads and I know its been a problem for lots of people. As you say I am hoping that the end of the month #s add up correctly. I like Absolute, and I have (up until this) really loved doing business with RTR, which is why I'm actually still playing at Absolute. I am totally willing to let them get it worked out. I am hoping that they will. I'm just saying the emails from both RTR and Absolute seemed to be saying a big, "Whatever, not our problem." Which is not par for the course for RTR at all in my experience. At this point I'm frustrated and just waiting for the other shoe to drop. If at the end of the month RTR is still telling me I played 1/3-1/2 of the raked hands that Absolute tells me I have played, I'm going to have to move on, because I don't know what else to do, after having emailed them both and told each what the other is saying, and they just shrug it off. I realize I'm probably just being a ninny about the whole thing. I have patience problems, I won't deny that. I agree that the auto-download of the hand histories is a fantastic development, almost necessary. And the site is just starting to blow up now, I think it will enjoy a lot of growth over the next year or two. So I really want to keep playing there. It'll probably get worked out. |

Re: WOW - Raketherake customer service!
Based on Absolute's response in this other thread the problem on the Absolute side should now be resolved!
