Re: bad call of an all in?
Its debatable. I hate calling 2 all ins w/ a likely dominated pair, but then again you have less than 10BB's.
Why did you let yourself get that low? Dead cards? Lost a big pot? |

[/ QUOTE ] to 7 bb's? that's a totally normal amount to have. especially b/c the blinds could've just gone up. i think it's a pretty clear fold. you're going to be playing 3-way, and there's a pretty decent chance the utg+1 reraise is a big pair. |

Re: bad call of an all in?
I don't think this is very debatable at all.
UTG raise and an EP push. Figuring UTG's range as 88+, AQ+, KQ and shortstacks as 22+, A9+, KQ you are around 26% against that range. |

Re: bad call of an all in?
I think it's obviously a clear fold, I mentioned debateable because of the short stack.

Re: bad call of an all in?
No question here, lay it down. I'm not sure I'm calling this even with tens or jacks, but I'm a rock sometimes, so that could be debated.

Re: bad call of an all in?
Great call. The other two guys were drawing dead, but you had live cards.

Re: bad call of an all in?
I hate this call. You are almost certainly a dog. Even with the best possible situation, you're only even money - and that's the BEST possible situation. Let's say the original raiser had anything in the top20% (a HUGE range for an EP raiser) and shortie has anything in the top10% (against a HUGE range for a reraiser even if he KNOWS that the raiser will raise light) - now you are only even money!
Such circumstances will almost never occur. Will the EP guy have something as weak as A4s? Will shortie have something as weak as QTs? I think not... |
