Default Stars 10+rebuy after first break?

hey...I'm still fairly new to the MTT forum but I've been doing fairly well in the 10+ rebuy tourney and although I got 7th in this tourney I'm still fretting this play early:

these kind of situations are almost impossible to avoid without losing a lot of chips.
The best thing to do after the player raises you on the flop is to stop and think what could he have. what hands justify his plays until this point. you also have to include your image on this player so far. (is he capable to bluff with such a hand). you also have to include his stack size and how desperate he is to win this pot.
The worst thing to do is to say: "I have an over pair to the board, no one is bluffing me, I'm all-in".
stop and think! make probablities to what kind of hands he might have.

if you think, you'll see that 88 and 77 are very likely hands and suits exactly his play so far (even JJ is a candidate but less likely as it would might bring a raise preflop).
I'm not saying it's an easy read and that that any top player would fold this (it's a very tough fold) but this is the way we should approach this problem.
