lotta calling here
I had only about 25 hands on the villain, and he looked tight, fairly aggressive preflop, maybe a little less agressive post flop. I had seen him open-raise the blinds from late position, and I got the feeling he was observant, so when he raised my small blind at a time when we were 7 handed, I felt the odds were high he was on a steal. The flop reraise confused me, and I didn't quite buy it. Or maybe I just didn't want to buy it. I called down. What do you think?

Re: lotta calling here
Well, I like the idea of assuming a typical opponent until proven otherwise. By your post it looks like you were beat. Another line for you to consider is bet/folding the turn, and if given the chance bet/fold the river.

Re: lotta calling here
I wouldnt fold that to a possible steal attempt. Normally sane players can get crazy once blinds are to be fought for. I think folding is being to weak here

Re: lotta calling here
This is still too weak to defend in the SB against a steal. If you were in the big blind on the other hand then this is a fine call. Postflop I think you played this fine. In steal situations showing down top pair is good.
