Re: \"Official \" ESPN WSOP TV Coverage (10/25)
The Bubble Boy, Karl Ygborn, was given an entry into next year's main event by Harrahs. So, whoever finished 562 was the real Bubble Boy.

Re: \"Official \" ESPN WSOP TV Coverage (10/25)
It seems CardPlayer's report was a little off on this one.
John Juanda and Paul Darden got all in preflop. Juanda had Q-Q, and Darden had A-K. The flop and the turn both brought an ace, and Darden was in a commanding lead heading to the river. But the river brought a miracle, a Queen. John Juanda makes a full boat on the river, and escapes elimination by taking a huge pot away from Paul Darden. Juanda is now sitting on approximately $275,000 in chips, and Darden is down to just about $100,000. |

Re: \"Official \" ESPN WSOP TV Coverage (10/25)
I was embarrassed by that red haired kid trying to chat with Sam Farha about his hand after Sam folds on the river. Farha's just like, "yeah, I couldn't give a chit, sorry."

Re: \"Official \" ESPN WSOP TV Coverage (10/25)
After a flop of 5-2-2 at ESPN's Featured Table, Howard Lederer is all in against the player in Seat 9. The other player shows Kh-5h (pair of fives), but Lederer has pocket aces (As-Ac). With a second pair already on the board, Lederer will win on any card but another five. The last two cards come J-J, and Howard Lederer doubles up to about $80,000 in chips.
It's interesting, looking back, that CardPlayer didn't know the player in seat 9 was Steve Dannenmann. |

[/ QUOTE ] I thought Farha's dismissal was a little over the top. A little too cool. I think the kid (and he was young) was genuine and his emotions reflected it. |

Re: \"Official \" ESPN WSOP TV Coverage (10/25)
Is it fair to say that Dannenmann will never make it this far in a big tourney again after watching his play through out the WSOP

Re: \"Official \" ESPN WSOP TV Coverage (10/25)
Look at the old-school Lederer look from the 80's. How come ESPN Classic can't break out that episode instead of the same episodes from the 90's. And there's Chad breaking out the Shana Hiatt reference.
EDIT after Kondracki's quad 5's: Now only 4 players left that haven't been seen (Barch, Black, Lazar, Kanter). |

Re: \"Official \" ESPN WSOP TV Coverage (10/25)
With the flop showing 8-6-5, the player in Kelly Kim bets out. There is an immediate reraise by Brad Kondracki, another yet another quick reraise from Kim, Kondracki thinks for 4 minutes, then moves all-in. 5 minutes later Kim finally calls, and shows Q-Q. Kondracki shows 5-5. The turn is a 5, giving Kondracki quads, while the river adds insult to injury for Kim with a Q, giving him Queens full of fives. Kondracki's stack stands at $485,000.
