Definitely call. Don't push here. Your stack is too deep here. Take a flop. Folding is terrible here.

When you do take the flop. I think Lloyd said he'd check raise most king high flops... what exceptions are those king high flops and do you go to the felt on a flop of QXX? And do you go to the felt w/ an open ended straight draw of 89T, 9TQ, TQK???

I don't understand why people tend to overplay their hands and risk their chips. Call and see the flop, you're in position and you still have chips to play with.

Well, he had 9800 before his 400 BB hit him, so that takes him down to 9400. His opponent raised to 1400 total, so it would cost him an extra 1000 to see the flop. To just call, he'd be risking 1400 of his 9800, or about 14%. Not quite a quarter, but a significant portion.

Weak tight has nothing to do with preflop folding by the way, it's your level of aggressiveness once you're in the pot. Call - check, fold is weak tight.

What do you do if you hit a dream flop of 9,6,2 rainbow, lead out and get raised? Are you going to put your whole tourney on two jacks? More power to you, but I'm not. He could be stealing with AK or AQ, he may have floped a set of nines, or he may have you crushed with AA,KK, or QQ. I'll keep my $ when I can be the aggressor. Not when I'm reacting with a semi marginal hand.
