Default $11: some early position TT help please

Thought I'd get adventurous with TT in early position.

preflop: is this a no-no or a style choice? my hand is very vulnerable, but it's too big to fold, I have some chips in front of me, and the table was on the tight side (still 10 handed after 20something hands).

flop: the overcard scares me, but I've somehow managed to build an obscenely large pot out of position. Villain (big stack) had built his stack by calling with overcards. am I wrong in thinking I should take this down right here?

I'd limp preflop. Stick a bet of 120 out there. If you're called, go hide in a check/fold shell.

120 is a ridicilously weak bet for a 875 pot.

I wouldn't bet 120 -- either bet aggressively (at least 400 - 500) or check.

No way can you check this flop. You got the weakest of the cards you feared, and had you feared any J-A all that much, why pop it so high pre-flop in the first place?

Anywhere from 2/3pot to pot bet is good here.

I didn't say to check, but I think it's a better option than betting 120. I'm thinking 400 - 500, about 1/2 the pot.

Okay, cool. I mis-understood. Agreed that t120 is not large enough.
