I dont like it. I fire smaller bullet here 6 and if he raises its a push. Perhaps a check to induce a bet is good here too. BUt pushing drives out weaker hands such as a weak A.

If you think he is so attached to his ace, why not check raise the flop or turn?

No sense in checking. Sounds like agood spot for a bet-check-bet play. He'll think you're stealing on the river unless he's familar with the play.
