Tucson AZ?
To the global network ...
Have a chance to be in Tucson Dec 3-6. Hear there are a few poker rooms at local casinos, so am thinking about coming out a few days early. Card rooms any good? Slight odds I could shift my trip to Vegas, but I can't count on it. I am mainly a limit holdem player, stakes from 5/10 up to 10/20. Some limit O8B. With your blessings, I can make flight arrangements. Many thanks. Mark |

Re: Tucson AZ?
For those limits, rent a car and make the 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive to Scottsdale and go to Casino Arizona.

Re: Tucson AZ?
I haven't played there, but I know a couple that comes up from Tucson several days a week to play at CA (Casino Arizona). From what they told me the highest regularly spread game there is 4/8, like at 95% of the rooms in AZ. They might get some 6/12 going from time to time too. I have not heard/seen a regularly going game of 10/20 or higher outside of CA.
O8B I have not seen or heard of being played higher than 4/8 anywhere but at CA where they spread a 6/12 full kill game. At CA you can find a 3/6, 4/8, 6/12 games 24/7 and 8/16, 10/20, 20/40, 40/80, 60/120 and 75/150 running most days during non vampire hours. |

Re: Tucson AZ?
Balls . . . thanks for the info though. I have decent limits about 2 hrs from where I live (Spirit Mt., OR), so I'll just stick around Tucson when I go.

Re: Tucson AZ?
This is ridiculous. 10/20 or 15/30 full kill goes at Desert Diamond every day. Bigger games on Fri/Sat sometimes up to 30/60 full kill. O/8 not so much though..

Re: Tucson AZ?
I played 10-20 and 15-30 on labor day weekend at Desert Diamond - It was a very soft game
