Any sites with pot odds quizes?
I'm working on counting pot odds correctly. Anybody know of a site with pot odd questions/quizes w/answers I could use for practice sessions.

Re: Any sites with pot odds quizes?
Thanks for the replies. What I'm trying to do learn is my exact outs and half outs. I was hoping to find something like a quiz saying "how many outs do you have" then I can compare my answer.

Re: Any sites with pot odds quizes?
here's something you can try.
go to the microlimits forums. find a handhistory somebody is looking for help on. Then think to yourself, is the 'hero' behind? How many outs does he have? Just work it out like that. rinse, repeat. |

Re: Any sites with pot odds quizes?
1 Overcard: 1.5
backdoor flush: 1.5 backdoor straight: 1 If you had A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], the flop comes: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] You have 5.5 outs. Then to further discount, I round down rather then up. 5 outs total. Always discount outs. In the example above, Someone could hold: AK/AJ/A2s/A6s/QJ Your drawing to a single pair, and they are drawing to two pair. You could also already be behind: JJ/22/66 |

1 Overcard: 1.5 [/ QUOTE ] You should edit this so some beginners don't get confused. |

[ QUOTE ] 1 Overcard: 1.5 [/ QUOTE ] You should edit this so some beginners don't get confused. [/ QUOTE ] Basically if you have AK as a hole cards there are 3 Aces & 3 Kings left in the deck. 6 outs, however you won't win everytime you hit one of those cards. Discounting an Out means you reduce the number of outs you actually have to acount for the times when you do hit your card and lose. It has been suggested that drawing to an Overcard should be counted as 1.5 outs rather then 3. If your drawing to 2 overcards, count it as 3 outs. |

Re: Any sites with pot odds quizes?
That's really not what I meant. Read what I quoted again, you have one overcard counting as 1.5 outs which is wrong and could confuse some noobs.
