AJo, flop bet ok?

a bit of an ugly win, I was almost 50/50 whether to bet the flop or not but with only 2 opponents I went for it.

I think you have ~ 10.5 outs or so.. definitely getting over 33%, so go for it.

looks good. i usually take the same line. just looking for opponents to fold on the flop when it misses.

I think you're greatly overestimating your outs here. I'd give 4 for the gutshot, 1.5 for the Ace, and 1.5 for the BDFD - for a total of 6. With that said, thought, I would probably still bet this flop if I thought there was a good chance one or both would fold.

Edit - clearly I'm terrible at math... make that seven outs.

hrm.. 1.5 outs for the BDFD, 3 Aces, 4 Queens, maybe 1.5 for the Jack. You think he could be against a better Ace?

We could be reverse dominated. And IMO the jacks aren't worth 1.5 outs.

Flop bet is fine. It's a coordinated high board so there's less chance to get everyone to fold, but there's still the chance. Plus 7ish outs to improve and the chance for a free card.

I think you were okay with the flop bet. You had the position and about 7 outs even if someone had a K.

The turn bet could have been a disaster if someone was on the draw.

Looking at the river, I would guess BB was a calling station with a T. Tripped his T's on the river and ran into your str.
