Is this a good line for tptk?
Still trying to learn how to keep the pot down so i dont put my stack behind tp. Ive heard that was the number 1 mistake novices like me make.

I bet the turn because there are two hearts and two spades on the board. Maybe 75% of pot. Dump to a raise.
if the board is rainbow I play it like you did, perhaps raise the river some % of the time. The Doc

This is my standard play, except that I bet close to the pot on the flop. But that isn't that significant.

What about if he bets more on the river. Say pot size or even larger. Thats a clear fold right?

You induced a possible bluff. Thus, you have to call up to a PSB IMO. If a draw seems to hit, then you have to use some judgement.

[/ QUOTE ] What hand will call the raise that doesn't have you beat?
