TPGK against a TP-A
I felt totally lost on this hand. Villian is very tight, and very aggresive when he comes in. Comments all streets greatly appreciated.

Re: TPGK against a TP-A
I think you need to get one more bet in.
I think the fact that the flush card came, villain cold-called your raise, and so on and so forth probably indicate that three-betting this turn is not all that prudent. I don't want to be capped, and I don't want to fold. So I like calling the turn raise and bet-calling the river. |

Re: TPGK against a TP-A
Do we really want to get raised on this river? What hands are we ahead of that villian raises us on the river with. Just curious, I think hero played hand quite well.

I think it's fine. I definitely don't want to get raised on the river and have to call. No way do we win over half the time we get raised and we call with this action.

Originally I thought hero gave exactly the right amount of action. It's certainly close. My main thought is that if villain is raising and then takes a free showdown, we'll be pretty upset he checked behind. Calling the river raise is thin but we're still only behind to those hands we were behind before, and he might raise some inferior two pair hands or another AQ... I'd like to hear an argument for bet-folding the river. A lot of my analysis is based on the fact that hero calls our villain very aggressive on later streets. |

Re: TPGK against a TP-A
I dont approve of bet/folding this river. We want to showdown, but against a tight opponent who cold called our pf raise I think check/call was a better option on this river.
