The SS v ZOO tourney WILL seat 60 players
In response to a post in the ZOO about the present Truepoker field limitation on pre-registration, I posted the following:
Sorry about any confusion. The ZOO v SS tourney WILL have a field of 60 players. The Change from 40 players to 60 players: When we originally set up the tourney, the field was to be limited to 40 players. At Mike Haven's request, we will be expanding it to 60 players .... however that expansion will be done the day of the tourney, due to having to re-code tourneys for easy expansion. (We could have done it manually and re-entered the existing field, but took the route of revising some software to allow for easier changes going forward.) David Gzesh, Truepoker CEO

I'm sorry, Team - I have only learned this information today, too, or I would have told you.
In the circumstances, as I have been encouraging you to take advantage of the Early Bird Rebate, I have asked if David True will allow the $2 Rebate to all those players who are seated at the six Tournament Tables before the first card is dealt, instead. Another slight change to the Team, as unfortunately brian0729's boss thinks work is more important than the Match of the Year. David True has just informed me that according to his records no one tried to Early Bird register before the cut-off time who didn't manage so to do.
Hence, rightly so, the Early Bird Rebate will be given only to those who took advantage of its being available.
