Va Tech -10.5 @ Maryland

Does anyone smell a upset in this game. VA Tech best running back is out and the other is questionable for the game. Maryland at home maybe the play + 10.5 ?

i dont mind taking a small bet here at 10 if they have Imoh - if not, i'll likely stay away - maryland is playing very well having won three in a row, and those two running backs are a large part of how the VT offense works - the younger vick can actually complete a pass in addition to running the ball, but i dont think he can win the game by himself - dont know a lot about Ore, but not having either Imoh or Humes is probably significant enough for me not to take this bet - this almost looks like a college BSP pick [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

the under here looks like a good enough bet if Imoh is out - 48.5 looks like too much for a team trying to execute an offense without two backfield weapons vs. an inspired maryland defense (dont forget VT's D is just a wee bit good)

I actually think it is. The second post post is a quintessential BSP post. If I had to bet this game I'd take Maryland. 10.5 is a LOT of points to lay on the road against a conference foe.

I hopped on VT when I saw it at -10, now I'm not liking it so much. However, everything that I've seen so far has pointed to Imoh starting and VT continuing with with a 2 back set. The main reason I really like VT is that they know they have a good chance to play in the Rose Bowl if USC/TX slips up and they have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game. No way are they looking past MD.

In my opinion this line is off by 10 points and is moveing the wrong way--Good for VT betters [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]...Yes Maryland is an ok team and put up points on Temple,Virginia, everything else has been 24 or less--they have not faced a D like this or an O like this (starting backs or not)
VTs D can bout cover this...VT crushes Maryland by 20 or more.

Not to mention last time they played VT 55 Maryland 6 (04)
