Bet the turn. Giving a free card to a T sucks.

I think your line is good here.
If they villian isn't very aggressive I would lead the turn and I might check/call the river, because he will often have KT. But he could have 2 pair or lower set often enough too...
With an aggro opponent I would play it just like this

It feels like i am misplaying everyhand.

I am almost ready to quit this game. I have played 32k hands of 2/4 and 3/6 short for a whopping .41BB/100 hands. I am in the midst of a 100BB downswing.
