Re: What are the fuken odds?
It depends how many people are at the table. If it's 9 opponents, it's about 1 in 4,200. That's unlikely, but it's not wildly so. It's on the order of getting a straight flush. That's unlikely too, but it happens.

AaronBrown, you forgot to add in the probability that the poker gods just hate him.

Re: What are the fuken odds?
if you have KK at a 9 person game, the chances are roughly 220/8 that someone has AA. 27 to 1
4200, get real. |

Re: What are the fuken odds?
I did a simulation (100000 hands) of 9 players being dealt random rands and 3.9% of the time at least one opponent will have AA given that one opponent has been dealt KK.
So, the chance that you will be up against AA exactly 7 times in 30 trials is like 1 in 8900. The chance that you will be up against AA at least 7 times in 30 trials is like 1 in 7900. I hypothesize that God hates you at 2 to 1. Someone can check my math on this. |

Re: What are the fuken odds?
4,200 to 1 is the chance of it happening 7 times out of 30 when he had pocket Kings.
