Re: (2/4) Extracting most with set of kings
I don't understand this line. If you 3-bet the turn and he just calls down, you get the same as this, and he might actually cap the turn or raise the river, giving you more action.
The way you played it, he'll never 3-bet the river and he might check behind. So basically you extracted the least. |

To extract the most HU, you should usually play a big hand straightforwardly.

3-bet the turn and keep on betting.

i don't see any reason why you'd prefer your line over 3-betting the turn and leading. you may have cost yourself a couple of bets cuz he may have capped if you 3-bet.

Re: (2/4) Extracting most with set of kings
For the love of god, 3-bet the effing turn (and call a cap) and then lead the river. There are quite a few worse hands (e.g. aces up) that will give you beaucoup action.
Trying a river C/R is an excellent way to let your opponent show down for free. Tom |

This was covered in ToP, when you have the pure nuts (or close enough) you generally don't want to try to decieve, you bet hoping the other guy has a big hand and that you can get into a raising war. The possibility of this results in it being better than being deceitful.
