Re: 10/20 Stud/8: Weird hand
It's not worth trying to get headsup with someone with 9 showing?

Re: 10/20 Stud/8: Weird hand
I agree (4K)K is usually a fold, but in this case a raise is clearly in order to get heads up against what appears to be a lower pair. When you get re-raised, you can put him on a very limited range of holdings including (AA)9 and the unlikely (KK)9 or (99)9, and can play accordingly. This is essentially a Stud Hi hand.

This is essentially a Stud Hi hand. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but here we have much stronger reads. Anywho, I think fifth is a clear fold. |

Some questions about the system: (1)When it says "post extras", what is this about? Also, (2)How do you quote sombody on your post?

Re: 10/20 Stud/8: Weird hand
Ok, given an unknown player in 10/20 on party, rather than a reasonable player, is it worth playing the KK?
In other words, when someone raises with a 9 up, doesn't Bayesian analysis tell us he's more likely to be a moron than have AA, KK or 99 down? |

Re: 10/20 Stud/8: Weird hand
I would play 2 low clubs in the hole liek this as well, this at least leaves some doubt in their minds assuming the clubs were live, but they aren't.
