3-6 SH JJ in MP with a three-better and BB cold-caller...
Party Poker 3-6
CO seems pretty TAG. He's been making solid decisions and not getting involved in too many LAGgy raise fests... BB also seems fairly solid, but a little looser. He's been rewarded for some risky plays, generally sound... Hero is MP, raises to 6 with JJ CO three-bets BB calls two more, I call. Flop: As-9s-6d BB bets. |

Fold. Most of the time he has an ace. Although the pot is pretty big, you don't have odds to draw to the set. You probably may peel one if you are pretty sure CO will not raise. But you cannot be sure of that because he 3-bet PF. So - fold.

Yeah, fold. You could easily already be behind CO and BB has bet into a PF raiser and 3bettor, I'm almost ready to give him credit for A9 or better.

RESULTS
I fold, CO raises, BB calls...
Turn is 5c. BB checks, CO bets, BB raises, CO calls. River Jh (dammit) BB bets, CO calls. BB shows 56 for the turned bottom two. CO shows TT (gasp!). So guess I was ahead on the flop... interesting... Guess you pretty much have to make that laydown anyway... |
