Did i handle the ladies correctly?
I would probably normally re raise pre flop but was planning to check raise the flop if no Ace or King.
Was that the wrong way to play it and was i right to fold this? Re: Did i handle the ladies correctly?
This play screams strength in my opinion. You 3 bet with a check raise and he continues on undaunted. The hands I put villain on are JJ-88, 22, 98s and 98o. I think you would see 99, 88, 98 or 22 more frequently than you would see JJ or TT. What hands can he play this strongly that you have beat? Unless he is an extreme LAG, I think you made a good fold here.

Re: Did i handle the ladies correctly?
Against a 50BB stack and getting 2:1 on a board where lots of draws could push, I call here. AA/KK seem unlikely, and you aren't totally dead against 89.
This hand plays itself if you 3-bet preflop. Slowplay (like most fancy plays) is best reserved for when you have position in a 2-way pot. |

Re: Did i handle the ladies correctly?
I would have thought thought if he was semi bluffing with a flush/straight draw he would have raised more to try to pick up the pot on the flop
The raise seems small to me like he has a strong hand and wants some action, then when he see's me raise he probably thinks i am committed and so he pushes. I definitely think he has a strong hand and is more then a 2:1 favourite over my queens. Thanks for the comments. I think i should have raised pre flop given the extra player in the pot as you suggest |

Re: Did i handle the ladies correctly?
Re-raise PF.
Don't mini-c/r. If your going to make a raise, make it $10-$12ish, call the push (you will be more committed than you are now). As played, I don't mind calling SB's 50BB stack here. |

Do you think he will have a draw here enough of the time to make the call correct? I made a smallish re raise to partly try to find out if i was ahead and presumed i wasnt when he re raise back all in. Maybe i gave villian too much credit and should have called? |

Re: Did i handle the ladies correctly?
I think PPs 10s-Aces play this way. AJ [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (or something of the sort), 99,88,22. Maybe A9 if he is a LAG.
