I'm in pretty much the exact same boat. Pretty much the same sort of winning expectations and I found it was really starting to grind me when I ran bad because I was "expecting" the money. Don't play so much now and I find my play is better and more consistant. I just think of the poker money as "mad money" for fun stuff.
