Default \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (10/13) (300/500 NL)

Tonight's show will be $300 min/$500 max NL featuring LATB commentator Shirley Rosario, so stop by and critique her play. Last night's game a 25/50 NL with a $5000 restricted buyin game was an occasionally exciting game. Former Friday night legend Jonas took down a huge pot just before the broadcast against LATB favorite Mo. Current LATB fave Barry W had a bad night, making some bold moves, but the cards weren't coming in during the broadcast. Hopefully he'l still have some of those 5k chips to play in the Friday night game. As always, www.liveatthebike.com from 6-9pm PT to follow the action. For those having computer trouble, may want to check and see if they're able to get the preview video (which will hopefully be updated by the end of the year).

I've got 6:06, and I don't see anything. Tap, tap, tap. Is this thing on?

I've been noticing much longer lead-in time lately. Today, at this time, they've been on the air almost 5 minutes already, just a black screen and an occasional meteor.

I don't think creating a thread entitles one to a check, although I'll gladly take any and all cash donations

Okay, mea culpa, mea culpa. I admit, I did commit some bonehead moves last night. The QJ was unmistably the worst [censored] move I have made, and I knew it when I did it. All I can say is THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!.

As far as the As6s, I had outs, the good draw, and thought I could move Paco off. Luck wasn't with me.

I have gotten some good advice from some of you and from a highly respected woman professional, and am trying to incorporate them. Slowly. The ace rag thing is going better, next up is top pair laydown. Jonas is unmistably the best player in that game and is not afraid to move his chips. Ed, Jesus, Alan are hard to play since they play more crap than I do (imagine that) and keep calling on draws...pinche river!

Friday I will try to do bigger laydowns, if needed, and evaluate all of the action more. I appreciate all of your comments, both negative and positive, and will try not to remain the poster child of bad poker playing.

If nothing else, I have given you guys something to talk about, dis and generally make you feel better about your own playing. So, all is not lost.

Catch you Friday, and then I will probably be off for 2 weeks (Vegas and Vail)

Barry
